Financial Analyst IT

The Financial Analyst IT acts as Financial Business partner for Global IT Function. Analyze, manage and makes recommendations on a $60 million budget. Conduct and document complex financial/analysis projects and prepare forecasts. May also be responsible for general accounting activities. Will supervise Accounting Assistant.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

  • 3+ of Financial Analysis experience

  • Experience with forecasting and preparing annual budgets required

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience in large ERP system, Oracle experience preferred

  • ·Experience with Hyperion and Business Intelligence preferred

Lead Responsibilities
  • Acts as Financial Business Partner for IT function.

  • Conducts and documents financial and business analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, profitability and investment.

  • Develop monthly & quarterly investment and expense forecast

  • Coordinates and communicates intercompany charges and allocations related to IT function. Provides explanations and support for allocation methods.

  • Makes recommendations for process improvement.

  • Coordinates preparation, roll-up and presentation of analysis results.

  • Performs analysis and research for the preparation of long range planning, operating reviews and annual operating plans for the Global IT Function.

  • May prepare and compile data for income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports for Global IT function.

  • ·Performs tasks in accordance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies.

  • Act as liaison between Functional IT leaders and Fixed Assets and AP functions.

  • Supervise, coach and train Accounting Assistant.
