The Sales Operations Manager plays an important role, acting as trusted advisors to the Sales Organization and partnership to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way. In this role, you will work in partnership to help define, land, and execute on our key strategic priorities for our Sales Team. You will fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then setting the standards for measuring sales force productivity. The Sales Operations Manager will establish the support functions essential to salesforce productivity. These include planning, reporting, quota/goal management, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, sales compensation administration. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with internal and external Sales Leadership/People to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled and clearly understood within the sales organization.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Finance, Management Consulting, or Project Management
  • Experience working with executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience in people management, managing a team and attracting and growing talent
  • Experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks, and taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, exhibiting sound business judgment, influencing results, and presenting to executive audiences

Lead Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Sales Leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. Aligns reporting, training and incentive programs with these performance management priorities
  • Coordinates with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate Salesforce reporting initiatives. Including recommending revisions to existing reports,or assisting in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Establishes KPIs to benchmark sales performance
  • Calculates and reports on key data points including but not limited to win ratio, funnel health, closed/won vs. actual performance.
  • Responsible for management of sales data (Pipeline/Account/Lead/Targets), including issuing weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to management on team and individual performance and providing commentary on notable developments and data calls outs from each report
  • Facilitates and manages revenue forecasting, planning and budgeting in conjunction with senior sales leadership.
  • Primary point of contact for Sales Management and Field Sales operating expense forecasts and budget.
  • Weekly/Monthly sales report of US sales, issuance of performance scorecards for US sales
  • Supports sales management with marketing and sales presentations
  • Provide data support and ad hoc analysis to sales leadership
  • Provide sales support to the team for lead generation software- Sales Intel.
  • Assist in organizing conference attendance, planning, and reporting
  • Recommend allocation of customers amongst sales territories to ensure even distribution of opportunities and optimize geographic coverage so that the sale team works as efficiently as possible.
