Desired Skills and Experience
- BA/BS in a technical electrical or electronic discipline, or equivalent. Associate degree in electronic/electric or computer technology disciplines considered with relevant experience
- Working knowledge of surface mount and through hole printed circuit board production is required
- 3+ years of direct work in programming/setup of applicable PCB production equipment desired.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standard and J-STD-001 Soldering Standard, certifications desired, but not required

Lead Responsibilities
- Work with production teams to drive best practices in PCB equipment programming and program organization, to ensure efficiency in both program/data management and in operational equipment performance. Document standard work processes for programming and setup and train backup personnel as required.
- Specifically, responsible to program/setup operating parameters on Jet and Stencil Printers, Pick & Place Machines, Reflow Ovens, AOI and X-Ray inspection processes, BGA Rework Station and Conformal Coating Machine.
- Perform scheduled review of Pick and Place error logs and make Package Library adjustments to eliminate or reduce repeat errors.
- Attend Engineering module design reviews to ensure designs are optimized for compatibility to our production equipment and programmed methodology.
- Understand the computer/network/database structure supporting each machine and ensure data backup is done on appropriate equipment. Key responsibility to ensure equipment has robust computer and database support, and proper actions are taken to eliminate or reduce known obsolescence risks.
- Support operators in troubleshooting issues and actively promote improvement activity in key business and team KPI’s. Improved quality and productivity are focus areas.
- Program and setup equipment used in the production of surface mount printed circuit boards and the additional assembly of wave-soldered through hole components. The scope covers all production processes (including inspection of surface mount production
