Magneto Web Developer

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a software developer in an ecommerce environment utilizing Magento 2.x as an e-commerce platform.

This position will provide support to Digital Marketing Department in configuring and optimizing corporate website to further traffic flow and online purchases. Must have working knowledge of HTML, PHP and Magento as well as experience installing and configuring Magento extensions both manually and via the Composer, experiencing editing Magento files and optimizing code, CSS and Javascript and general knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud platform. SEO experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer in an ecommerce environment utilizing Magento 2.x as an e-commerce platform. This includes hands-on experience developing and modifying PHP for Magento.

Key Responsibilities
  • This position will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for their B2C web commerce initiatives on the Magento platform
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
  • Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the interface
  • Take ownership and rapidly iterate while collaborating actively as part of a small, highly talented team.
  • Build search and user-friendly web pages for our e-commerce platform. Perform A/B testing, build and maintain monthly homepage and customer learning environment
  • Provide regular maintenance and enhancement for e-commerce portal and test the website on desktop and mobile platforms (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, iOS) after updates and fix any issues
  • Experience integrating third party APIs in Magento, Magento Plug-ins and
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases like Google Analytics, ERP, CRM, Email Service Providers etc
  • Ensure web pages are developed to measure traffic through Google Analytics
  • Assist with measuring website performance and suggest how to increase traffic
  • Apply SEO tactics to improve visibility and direct new visitors to our website
