Corporate Accountant II (Holding Companies)

The Corporate Accountant for Holding Companies is primarily responsible for keeping the books and records of international holding companies directly or indirectly owned by the Company. This includes all internal reporting, including forecasting, preparing internal financial reports, preparation of the annual financial reports in local GAAP and coordinating the annual audit. The position will also provide assistance to other finance related functions at the corporate office as needed. This may include reviewing financial statements, assisting with overall forecast, and analyzing financial results. This position will be integral part of the corporate finance organization.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of increasingly responsible accounting experience
  • Public Accounting experience and/or Manufacturing experience desired
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Blackline and Hyperion experience desired
  • Oracle experience, and/or Systems implementation experience a plus

Lead Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the tax department to coordinate accounting activities with the various tax planning strategies at each assigned international holding company.
  • Quarterly forecasts and budgets for assigned international holding companies.
  • Assist in providing documentation and review for the annual audits of assigned international holding companies. This includes working with external international auditors.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting of assigned international holding companies in accordance with company policies and with U.S. GAAP.
  • Work closely with the tax department to coordinate accounting activities with the various tax planning strategies at each assigned international holding company.
  • Assist in the completion of special projects, as needed.
  • Coordinate with Treasury department on cash, hedging, and intercompany lending arrangements.
  • Reconcile intercompany activity with other business units.
  • May assist in general month end close process.
