  • BS/BA in Engineering, Business or related field preferred
  • 5 yrs related work experience driving performance excellence initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Value stream initiatives and thorough understanding of process control, continuous improvement methodology, standard work practices, and environmental, health and safety best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to gather, analyze and react to relevant process data.
  • Green Belt Certification & Lean Apprentice Certification within 1 Year, Black Belt certification & Lean Practitioner within 3 years preferred.

Lead Responsibilities
  • Performance Excellence/Operation Excellence driver witin lean business practices within the organization
  • Manage relationships with process control, sales, engineering, marketing and other performance excellence areas.
  • Leads key improvement opportunities at facility including, quality improvement, productivity, team mentorship programs and performance implementation.
  • Leads facilitation of site/functional implementation of Standard Process Control focused on 5Ms (Manpower, Machine, Method, Material, Measurement) with Operating System Certification as centerpiece for a small facility.
  • Drives self-directed work teams and works with Value Stream owners to achieve departmental KPI/TTI goals.
  • Collaborates with management in selecting and prioritization of projects, leaders and champions that align with business/functional goals and strategies.
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops site/functional team members through training (Green Belt, Black Belt, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and Lend Forwards) to effectively utilize performance excellence tools, methodologies and philosophies to drive performance excellence.
  • Works directly with the Site and/or Functional leadership to lead and deploy Companies Performance Excellence program for assigned plant.
  • Works with site or functional leadership to develop overall A3 implementation plans, including current and future Value Streams, standard work, and sustained stability to achieve higher levels of Operating Certification.
  • Measures, tracks and communicates PE performance to plant leadership to identify plans for improvement.
