The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with 25+ years of experience in the Environmental Engineering and Environmental Services industry, a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license, P&L, and budgeting experience. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the environmental services industry, a proven track record of success, and a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.

The CEO will oversee all of the company’s functions, finance, operations, marketing, sales, engineering, and environmental consulting. They will also be responsible for providing strategic direction and spearheading growth initiatives for the company.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the company to promote growth and expansion 
  • Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Provide leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Drive business growth and market expansion through innovative services, strategic partnerships, and client acquisition
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company, government, OSHA, and other job-specific regulations  
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and industry associations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Knowledge, SkillS, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, (PE preferred)
  • Must have 25+ years of experience in environmental engineering and environmental services industry, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement
  • Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Geologist (PG) license
  • Demonstrated experience in P&L management, budgeting, and financial oversight
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, oral, and written communication skills 
  • Proven success as a leader in motivating and inspiring teams 
  • Deep understanding of the environmental services industry,  environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
  • Proven ability to navigate complex business environments and foster relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • A passion for environmental sustainability
