Vice President of Sales and Marketing

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for building and scaling the company’s commercial engine across environmental services. This leader will drive strategy, structure, and execution across business development, marketing, and field sales—building a cohesive go-to-market framework that accelerates revenue growth and strengthens brand presence.
This role reports directly to the CEO and carries full accountability for revenue generation, pipeline performance, and marketing effectiveness.

Lead Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Strategy
  • Design and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy encompassing Business Development, Marketing, and Account Management functions.
  • Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), segment target markets, and establish territory strategies across environmental remediation, abatement, and demolition service lines.
  • Develop performance dashboards, funnel metrics, and sales cadence tools to manage growth and accountability.
  • Partner with executive leadership on pricing, margin optimization, and strategic partnerships to expand market share.
Team Building & Development
  • Build and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing organization that balances strategic thinking with tactical execution.
  • Drive accountability through KPIs, territory management, and consistent pipeline review rhythms.
  • Foster collaboration between BD teams, EPMs, and field sellers to ensure unified messaging and execution.
Hands-On Execution
  • Personally engage key clients and prospects to deepen relationships and close strategic accounts.
  • Lead ad-hoc analyses, test marketing initiatives, and pilot outreach campaigns to validate new opportunities before scaling.
  • Bring structure and velocity—eliminating bottlenecks, ensuring decisions translate to action.
Marketing & Brand Development
  • Oversee all brand, digital, and content marketing initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Develop lead generation programs, conference and event strategies, and proposal excellence standards.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging across all client touchpoints to position the firm as a market leader in environmental services.
Financial Accountability
  • Own revenue forecasting, budgeting, and P&L oversight for sales and marketing functions.
  • Align compensation and incentive structures with company growth and profitability objectives.
HIDDEN
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing, ideally within environmental services, consulting, or adjacent industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated success building sales programs from zero-to-one through scale.
  • Strong understanding of environmental remediation, abatement, demolition, or industrial field-services markets.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional leadership, strategic planning, and driving measurable growth.
  • High-energy, persuasive communicator able to operate with autonomy and urgency.
  • Private Equity–backed company experience preferred but not required.
