Vice President of Sales

The Vice President of Sales will lead national sales strategy, execution, and revenue growth for the company’s medical products and business services division. This is a highly visible executive role responsible for driving market expansion, building enterprise relationships, and positioning the company as a trusted partner to hospitals, healthcare networks, distributors, and medical product providers across the U.S.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader with a track record of scaling revenue in the medical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to accelerate national growth, optimize performance, and build a high-impact sales organization.

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a national go-to-market strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Define clear revenue goals, market priorities, and channel strategies across key healthcare segments.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and territory development to ensure consistent performance.
  • Drive pricing strategy and contract negotiations with major health systems, GPOs, and distributors.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify emerging opportunities and maximize return on sales investments.

Team Development & Performance

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization focused on consultative, value-driven selling.
  • Establish performance metrics, incentive programs, and accountability standards to drive results.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless alignment from lead generation to customer success.

Client & Market Engagement

  • Deepen relationships with key healthcare and business service clients across the U.S.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and executive presence in client meetings, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory shifts, and product innovations shaping the medical products landscape.
  • Represent the company at industry events and within key professional networks to elevate brand presence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning, M&A integration, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Work with operations and product development teams to ensure customer feedback drives innovation and service delivery.
  • Align sales goals with financial objectives and corporate KPIs, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
HIDDEN
Knowledge, Skills, abilities, and experience
  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years at the executive level.
  • Proven success leading national sales organizations within the medical products, healthcare services, or related B2B sectors.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement, healthcare distribution, and GPO contracting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and deliver consistent double-digit revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience leading remote and geographically distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

    Travel: Remote position with national travel as required (approximately 30–40%).
