As we scale aggressively across the Americas, we are seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Vice President of Sales to drive our commercial expansion.Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on market expansion, revenue growth, and customer acquisition across all Americas territories
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales organization, including direct reports, rep firms, and distribution partners
- Establish and grow long-term relationships with Machinery OEMs, system integrators, consultants, distributors and strategic accounts in the motion control and industrial automation ecosystem
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure product-market fit and alignment with evolving customer needs
- Define and track KPIs across territories, including sales performance, channel effectiveness, and pipeline health, as well as service performance.
- Identify and close strategic opportunities, including large Machinery OEM deals and high-value channel partnerships as well partners in respective markets
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, social media and partner meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
- Drive, contract negotiation, support pricing strategy, and competitive positioning in alignment with corporate objectives
Position Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the applied motor control, drives, industrial automation, or power electronics sectors
- Technical expertise in motor starters, VFDs, panel systems, UL/ANSI/CSA compliance and the respective industrial applications such as pumps, compressors, fans etc.
- Deep understanding of Rep, Distribution, and OEM sales models, with a successful track record managing complex channel relationships
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales organizations, with a strong focus on new business development in growth verticals
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel frequently across North America and LATAM
- Strong relationships with industrial OEMs, automation integrators, and channel partners throughout the Americas
- Familiarity with regional market dynamics and sales cycles in the US, Canada, Central and Latin America
- Experience working in a mid-sized or rapidly scaling organization with a technical, customer-centric product portfolio
- Proven experience leading multi-functional teams and cross-border sales operations, including Canada
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and CRM-driven sales methodology
