Position Summary
Primary Responsibilities
- Leverage strong business and manufacturing financial acumen to drive planning and decision-making, and effectively manage human and material resources across all shifts to ensure the on-time completion and delivery of products in the desired quantities, at or below budgeted cost, and of the desired quality.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement actions to improve cost, quality, productivity, cycle time, or delivery performance.
- Lead and facilitate the implementation new manufacturing and/or assembly lines and operations.
- Lead, coach and mentor direct reports that include hourly production, technical and professional staff in a non-union setting.
- Assign resources as required to achieve revenue goals.
- Be the primary driver of cost reduction in manufacturing.
- Working with the quality department, monitor quality of products and implement and enforce quality control actions as required to meet quality objectives.
- Develop standard operating procedures and ensure they are followed
- Manage Safety and Environmental compliance function, including implementation and adherence to health and safety procedu
- Monitor manufacturing capacity and suggest changes needed to meet demands.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including engineering, purchasing, planning & scheduling, and project management.
- Weekly KPI reports to management regarding plant performance.

Position Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Business/Operations Management. Other college degree with appropriate experience will be considered. MBA a strong plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years applicable leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong financial acumen is required, with the ability to understand business financials, as well as strong financial literacy as it relates to manufacturing operations.
- Prior experience and proven ability to effectively recruit, manage, supervise, mentor and motivate team members that include production hourly, technical and professional staff.
- Prior experience leading and facilitating the implementation new manufacturing and/or assembly lines and operations.
- Superior leadership skills, including proven expertise in performance management, conflict resolution, mentoring and motivating direct reports.
- Lean Manufacturing tools knowledge and expertise in deployment.
- Experience with ERP use and function.
