Position Summary
Primary Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Execution
- Establish and execute a comprehensive operating plan aligned with growth, margin, and quality objectives
- Drive accountability across all functional leaders and frontline teams
- Maintain a consistent operating rhythm with clear priorities, metrics, and follow-through
Operations & Production Management
- Oversee end-to-end job execution from contract signing through project completion
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and production timelines
- Optimize scheduling, crew utilization, and workflow efficiency
- Implement process improvements that increase predictability, throughput, and customer satisfaction
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Lead and develop the sales organization through recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and average job value
- Enforce pricing discipline and margin expectations
- Partner cross-functionally to improve lead flow, close rates, and customer acquisition efficiency
People & Culture
- Build and retain a high-performing leadership team and frontline workforce
- Establish clear expectations, performance scorecards, and feedback loops
- Foster a culture centered on accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Financial Management
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance management at the branch level
- Drive margin improvement through labor efficiency, material cost control, and reduced rework
- Monitor unit economics including labor, subcontractor costs, supplements, and warranty exposure
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and corrective action when performance deviates
Performance Indicators
- Revenue growth and profitability
- Sales conversion, average job value, and backlog health
- Production cycle times and schedule adherence
- Quality metrics including callbacks, warranty claims, and customer satisfaction
- Employee retention, productivity, and leadership bench strength
Scope of Responsibility
- Full ownership of branch P&L performance and operating results
- Leadership of sales, field operations, customer service, and administrative functions
- Local hiring, organizational design, and talent development
- Production planning, capacity management, and vendor/subcontractor oversight
- Execution of performance management cadence including KPIs, dashboards, and reviews
Position Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with at least 5 years managing a business unit, branch, or P&L
- Demonstrated success scaling revenue while improving operational discipline
- Background in residential services, construction, roofing, exterior services, or related industries preferred
- Strong people leader with proven ability to hire, develop, and hold teams accountable
- Financially fluent with the ability to interpret P&L statements, forecasts, and KPIs
- Decisive, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
