We are a fast-growing manufacturing and distribution company located in Greencastle, PA, focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and people development. As we expand, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve our HR function in alignment with our growth and transformation goals.Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and execute HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee all core HR functions: payroll, benefits administration, compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, and retention.
- Manage and support both hourly and salaried employee groups, including supervisory and managerial staff.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Logistics to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business goals.
- Collaborate with external recruiting and staffing agencies to support workforce planning and hiring needs.
- Design and implement scalable HR policies, processes, and SOPs to support a growing and evolving organization.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive a performance-based culture.
- Support and advise leadership on organizational design, change management, and employee development strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Position Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
- Proven track record overseeing HR in a growing organization, including new systems implementation and process optimization.
- Experience managing a diverse workforce of both hourly and exempt employees.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll systems, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
- Experience with external recruitment and staffing partners.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work onsite in Greencastle, PA – relocation assistance provided.
