Position Summary

The Company is seeking a detail-oriented Commodity Specialist / Analyst to support sourcing, procurement, and data-driven supply chain initiatives at its Franksville manufacturing facility. This role will focus on managing assigned commodities, supplier performance, and analytics to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Commodity & Procurement Support
  • Manage day-to-day sourcing and procurement activities for assigned commodities.
  • Support supplier negotiations related to pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
  • Assist in supplier selection, onboarding, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure material availability aligned with production needs.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze spend, pricing trends, supplier performance, and inventory metrics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Hyperion.
  • Track and report KPIs related to cost savings, supplier delivery, quality, and inventory turns.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis in partnership with Finance.
Supplier Performance & Risk Management
  • Monitor supplier quality, delivery, and capacity performance.
  • Assist with supplier corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support risk assessments and contingency planning to protect supply continuity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Finance to support sourcing decisions.
  • Assist with material changes, supplier transitions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure purchasing activities align with internal controls and documentation standards.

Position Requirements

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, buying, supply chain, or commodity support.
  • Experience purchasing manufactured goods; electronics buying experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS, or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Hyperion, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to KPI reporting, spend analysis, or supplier performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments.
