Position Summary
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a well-established importer and wholesaler of premium quartz surfaces, with seven branch locations across Florida. The company is known for a highly competitive quartz palette — in both selection and price — and for bringing innovative new colors to market faster than larger competitors. Selling directly to A&D and fabricators through an outside-sales model, the business is built on great products, great service, and great pricing, backed by strong material availability and reliable delivery.Primary Responsibilities
- Build relationships with architects and design firms within the specified market through product-knowledge presentations, library updates, lunch & learns, and showroom events.
- Provide design consultation and assist with product selections.
- Suggest value-engineered (VE) alternates to specified products or competitors' products as requested.
- Provide the design community with specification documents, budgetary pricing, and sample deliveries as necessary.
- Maintain records of all materials in customer libraries (binders, samples, etc.).
- Schedule and deliver presentations with supplier/factory representatives when requested.
- Visit customers and job sites as needed to provide product support and technical expertise.
- Actively participate in local chapters of trade associations (e.g., ASID, IIDA), including after-hours events.
- Document, track, and follow through all known project specifications from initial spec to order completion.
- Maintain project and sales activity in the company CRM system.
- Maintain relationships with top fabricators and sub-contractors in the market.
- Coordinate all marketing materials, including loose samples, binders, and brochures needed for the territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Established, trusted relationships within the Miami-Dade design community (architects and interior designers).
- A&D / architectural surfaces sales experience preferred.
- Relationship-driven and consultative — solution-oriented rather than transactional.
- Excellent customer-service, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined.
