Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual bookings, revenue, and margin targets across the Americas region
  • Protect and expand the existing customer base while identifying new business opportunities within plastics processing, injection molding, and automation-driven manufacturing environments
  • Drive growth across recurring revenue streams and large, complex capital equipment or systems-based solutions
  • Understand commercial and contractual risk profiles to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions while closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a multi-channel sales organization, including direct sales leaders, rep firms, and distribution partners, fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture
  • Develop and manage executive-level relationships with key OEMs, plastics processors, automation integrators, and strategic accounts
  • Stay current on plastics and injection molding industry trends, manufacturing technologies, and competitive dynamics and incorporate insights into sales strategy
  • Network with industry leaders, OEM partners, integrators, and consultants to gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs and applications
  • Recommend target markets and growth sectors after evaluating market trends, technology developments, competitive landscape, and product or solution gaps

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head of Sales, Vice President of Sales, or equivalent senior commercial leader with responsibility for the Americas region
  • Demonstrated commercial success selling into plastics processing, injection molding, extrusion, industrial automation, or related manufacturing markets
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities with experience scaling sales organizations
  • Strategic and economic thinker with the ability to align sales execution with enterprise-level objectives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time across North America and Latin America
