Position Overview
The Vice President of Finance will be a critical member of our Finance team, directly responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and daily operations of the finance and accounting functions. The VP of Finance will provide financial stewardship, establish sound fiscal strategies, ensure compliance, and drive financial performance in alignment with organizational objectives.
Lead Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with overall company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and financial data to advise on business growth opportunities and risks.
Finance & Accounting Management
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Direct comprehensive financial planning and analysis activities.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration processes for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Work closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders to identify potential strategic acquisitions.
Banking and Covenants Management
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, oversee banking activities, and ensure compliance with bank covenants.
- Negotiate favorable financial terms and manage debt and capital financing activities.
Tax and Compliance
- Oversee national and international tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international financial regulations.
Company Establishment and Expansion
- Direct the financial establishment of new national and international subsidiaries or entities, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
- Support global operational expansion initiatives by providing financial oversight and risk assessment.
Internal Controls and Risk Management
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Implement risk management strategies and ensure financial security through effective risk mitigation.
HIDDEN
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and strategic financial leadership.
- Proven experience in managing banking relationships, covenants, and capital financing.
- Extensive experience with M&A activities including financial due diligence and integration.
- Deep understanding of national and international tax regulations, compliance requirements, and experience establishing legal entities.
- Private Equity experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across diverse teams and global markets.
